THE CHALLENGE:
Rising Crime at a Critical Facility
Between September 2022 and December 2023, the Lexington 404 Plaza — home to CSL Plasma’s Lexington Center — faced escalating violence that placed employees, donors, and operations at risk. In just 18 months, there were 11 violent incidents within the plaza, five involving firearms and one resulting in a fatality. The frequency and severity of these events caused growing anxiety among employees, while donors began expressing fear that threatened participation and retention.
CSL Plasma grew increasingly concerned that an employee or donor could be harmed. Supported by Global Security and Plasma Leadership, they took a proactive approach — determined to prevent future tragedy. While most incidents happened after CSL’s operating hours, the impact carried into the workday. Employees would arrive to see police activity or hear about shootings in the parking lot, creating fear and distraction that affected morale and daily operations.

THE SOLUTION:
Stallion’s Always-On, AI-Powered Protection
In December 2023, CSL partnered with us to strengthen security at the Lexington location. We deployed our Mobile Surveillance Trailers (MSTs) — purpose-built units designed to deter, detect, and respond in real time.
