MST Winter Care Tips
Ensure Optimal Performance
In Harsh Winter Conditions
Face Panels South
Ensure the solar panels are facing south. Verify there are no obstructions, including buildings and trees, blocking a clear line of sight to the sky.
Snow Care
If snow is present on solar panels, use a soft broom to sweep back and forth, horizontally starting at the top of the panel and working down to the bottom. You will want to repeat this step for all panels on the MST.
Ice Care
If ice is present, use an ice scraper to remove the ice. Like the previous step, you will want to work side to side with the scraper, starting at the top of the panel and working your way to the bottom.
